1. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks AND passed or appearing in the final 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
2. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks AND passed or appearing in the final 2-year D.El.Ed (as per NCTE norms).
3. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks AND passed or appearing in the final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

For Paper II (Elementary Stage: Classes VI-VIII)

1. Graduation AND passed or appearing in the final 2-year D.El.Ed.
2. Graduation with at least 50% marks AND passed or appearing in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program.
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks AND passed or appearing in a B.Ed program (as per NCTE regulations).
